Re: duel exhaust for smaller CC motor there is pretty much no benefit to dually pipes besides looks. for bigger motors it helps, but only if you have a dyno and you know where to look. big minis PC dually pipes for the 110 are 1,ooo dollars worth of "ooooooh look at that bike" factor. Akropovic makes a dual system for a 110 too, that fits on all bikes. Maybe they have the dually for the 150 too?!?!?

Re: duel exhaust i suppose that would work if the duals caused more back pressure. but even then, it doesnt add any power. it just moves it in the rpm range, like a different length header.

Re: duel exhaust There is no benifit to duals unless you got mulitiple cylinderbanks. There is more to exhuast then flow and backpressure. Duals=Weaker revision pulse.

Re: duel exhaust and honda decided to just waste lots of time and money in developing the duals on the 250. Theres a reason they did it, not just for looks.

Re: duel exhaust They claim it is for balence not power. Notice the samsung/no fear team running singles now. Honda did it so they could patent it.

Re: duel exhaust ya like the other guy says, dual pulls really hard on bottom but goes flat on the top where the single is a little less bottom but is AWESOME on the top!! i have ran both single and dual on my 250f and i like the single ALOT more!! cus both the power and there is less things to break, because given the nature of pro circuit pipes, it takes one little tangle to mess up your duals pretty hard core!!

Re: duel exhaust If you put a dual Exhaust and a bbr primeter frame on a 150R, you could probably fool lots of people into thinkin thats a 250

Re: duel exhaust personally i think honda did the dual exhaust on the 250's as a selling point...im sure lots of kids bought the honda 250f rather than say yamaha or kawasaki cause it had dual exhaust...kinda like the kawi black fork legs for 450
