Talking crf150f engine swap info

just figured id do a little tech talk. the crf230 and 150 f's if you dont know share common motor mounting points as the xr200 enigines. you need to elongate and drill a hole or to but its pretty much bolt and go, for you people looking to have the ultimate pitbike heres what i run. rare but find a 1986-1987(only made two years) honda reflex TLR 200. they use a sweet motor. crank mounted ignition instead of cam and the killer part is there close ratio 6 speed motors! same top end as 200's so bore em out. i might but my engine up for sale later for the right price but its a 220 now with custom ground DMC cam and DMC ported and polished head. pushing 13:1 compression it sits on my garage floor as i snapped the kicker shaft. Go out and build those 150's!!

Did the Reflex have a bigger fin head and jug like 200X's?

If you can get a comparison against an XR80/100 motor, or 50 motor, that'd be cool... : )

Re: crf150f engine swap info

yes, i will do a side by side to a 100 motor i have pulled out. my 50 motor is still bolted to my bike but i will prop it up to the bike. by far its the best honda motor i feel for any build. i found a whole complete reflex at a local garage sale for 150 dollars
