Any adults riding the 150r I have been looking into purchasing a pitbike and found all of the ones I like are close to 3-5k. Wanted to know if anyone is using the 150r for a play bike, I am 6 foot 185 lbs. Let me know what you think

Re: Any adults riding the 150r they are not pitbikes...they are meant for a big bike track not a mini track. a mini track is usually made for a 150f tops. and even a 150f can be overkill.

Re: Any adults riding the 150r Thanks for the replies, I sure dont want to be perceived as a fag. I wasnt going to be racing the pit bike, just track riding with my son and thought the 150r may be a little more comfortable and actually cheaper than a solid pit bike. Where we ride you cant put a big bike on the kid track therefore a pit or mini is why I am considering this. Ayone else with words of wisdom

Re: Any adults riding the 150r Man. This argument again? I've seen it everywhere. I think that if you think that it's a pitbike and you're over 20, then go for it and ride it as a pitbike. You're not a fag if you want to ride and spend time with your kid. If you're 13 or 14 like me, then buy one if you want one and race it, or you can still ride it as a pitbike, if you have the money to have one of those as a pitbike and still have a race bike. It's all a matter of how you think about it in your own mind IMO.

Re: Any adults riding the 150r how is it a pitbike when you go to the "pitbike track" and hit all the jumps in first gear? if you want to look like a total goon then go for it. We're just watching out for you..

Re: Any adults riding the 150r Something like a Pitster X4 would be a good option for you if your worried about having a true "pitbike" and should be closer to $1800 or so.

Re: Any adults riding the 150r i agree. it's all riding. ride whatever you want and call it what whatever want. some people have fun riding scooters and some people have fun riding fat girls. my advice, ride what you want and wear it out.

Re: Any adults riding the 150r a$$hole? first off it is two words.. and second I am not an ars! I just hate hearing people call a 12-14 year old water cooled bike a pit bike... that my main point. And if you want to get a comfortable bike to cruise around with your kid get a crf 150F, havent heard of any problems but with the R being water cooled you may have some problem with it getting a little too warm. Get what ever you want, just if you get a 150R dont call it a pit bike....

Re: Any adults riding the 150r Seriously! I have a big wheel (Expert) 150R. It's a super cool ride. The problem I'm having with it is that it's a little small for a big bike track, and a little big for a mini track. If you ride it on tracks with out huge jumps and tight turns it's awesome. I'd rather use a full sized bike for jumps though, it's so much more stable and all. Either way, it's a super fun bike to ride-- I hope I can try it out on some trails pretty soon. ----L*64
