| Most people don't mind paying $4200 for a dirtbike. They easily spend $6/7000 on KLXs. Quote:

Why would you pay $6000-$8000 to build a 125-1500cc adult play toy when you will be able to go to a honda dealership and buy one as trick as anything you could build up for $4000? Sounds like a no brainer to me. And as far as what is a pitbike, doesn't it all come down to bi guys having as much fun as possible on small bikes?I hope YAMAHA follows right behind!

building minis may be fun but you upon the sale you lose money. the build up is $$$ also. these crf150r will be a better purchase! the real test is will it be a valve eater like its bigger brothers?

Why do some of you class this bike as a pitbike. Is a cr85 a pitbike, NO ! This is a new set up and will prob have its own class just like the 85's. Do KLX110's race with the 85's, NO ! . Just go and buy tha damn bike, because it's going to be one bad mother F ucker and ride it. If your concerned wheather or not your going to be able to ride it at a pitbike track, well now you have to do some thinking, because some may allow it and some may not. If not , suck it up and go ride it on a big bike track and smile. I see 85's on the big tracks all the time and they smile alot. The end

DAGNER I agree it is not a pitbike but I am guessing that if the pitbike movement in someone's local area is not that big then the mixing of klx110's and crf150r are inevitable. look at 110s and 50s maybe not a good comparison but a comparison after all. I also agree anyone interested in the damn bike should just buy it and ride it. I personally want it but can't justify it
