Pit bike race in Nebraska

April 23rd in Arapahoe, NE. This race is piggy backed on with the Cornhusker MX circuit race that weekend. As far as I know this is just a play/fun race with no payback or trophies (but I could be wrong). This is kind of a test run to see the interest in maybe adding a race to each stop of the circuit. Here is the website for track directions www.crnhskrmx.com Sorry I don't have much more info at this time.

So will I, by the way I love the bike. We have been getting along pretty good.

Anyways some more info on this. The President of the Circuit has bought 10 pit bikes, and is planning on selling them at the events. This is their first ever race, and it sounds like if they have a good turn out. They might add it on to the scedules. Which would mean that there would be a race in Nebraska almost every weekend from the months of March to October.

Neat! I can't wait to see it! I am not sure how they will run the track for the pit bikes, I cannot believe that they would run the WHOLE course as it is a pretty open track. But if they do that SE motor would be the motor of choice.

This is a brand new track north of town. My friend and I had talked about it, and he says it will be a nice track to ride at. He said it could be challenging, but nothing that couldn't be handled. I am guessing they are going to run them like the Peewee's, which would mean that some of the track would be cut out, but there would still be berms and jumps to do. This is all speclutaion though.

Its towards the southwest end of the state but NOT in the panhandle, its along highway 6/34. Probably the best way for you guys to come is I-80 to the Elm Creek exit then south down to Holdrege then west on 6.

actually the best way for them to go would be to take Interstate to Lexington, get off at that exit and turn south. Flow that highway, which is Highway 283, to Arapahoe. Either way will get you there, its just a matter of what you want to take.

I don't think there are going to be any classes, I think it will be like the arenacross where everybody is in one class. I won't know how much it will cost. But I plan on at least getting the directions posted somehow.

Well gates open at 7:00 raceing is at 11:00, rules should be the same for the big bikes. I imagine it will be just one big class depending on how many show up. Its just an exhibition as I understand. So its just a fun race like at the Arenacross's.

ah **** racing starts at 11 lol

we'll have to leave at like 5 am.

I got some serious wrenching to finish before my SE motor/perimeter bike are ready. My hands are scratched and burned raw :P

If it's only one big pitbike race, i donno if we'll go. We've been invited to run at a couple local tracks that are closer and built just for minis. If/when you guys report back we'll make our decision about where to go
