Orion Pitbike Sales presents the Texas Enduro Pitbike Race, It will be held at Boondoxxx Motocross the 1st sat in Nov. (Nov 3rd). This will be a 6 hour endurace race with the option to drop off at the 2 and 4 hour marks. More details and info coming soon!!

50cc stock appearing-10’

88cc only – 10’

89cc and up – 10’

110 stock – 12’

110 mod – 12’

Youth (under 16) – 10’

Big Wheel – Open 14’~16’

Over 30 - Open

Iron man – 10’

Iron man – 12’

Times

Sign Ups- 3-5 pm

Riders Meeting -4:45 pm

Practice -5 pm

Racing – 6 pm till 12 am

Prices

Rider Fee @ gate 10.00

Spectator Fee @ gate $10.00

Class fee per team - $50.00

Iron man fee - $25.00

There will be a raffle for a pit bike donated by Orion Pit Bike Sales. Tickets will be $5.00 per ticket. All raffle proceeds will go to Charity. You may buy as many as you like. Tickets are on sale starting Saturday Sept 8, 2007. Purchase tickets at Boondoxxx Motocross, in the concession stand.

Rules
1.All classes except the two iron man class will be in teams of two (2). You may race one bike or two (2) bikes. If racing two bikes they have to be the same size bike and have the same number. You may only race one bike at a time, one team member at a time.
2.A flashlight will be required on your helmet or bike. Many parts of the course will be dark. Be prepared for total darkness in the trees and part of some of the tracks.
3.You and your teammate can switch at any time, but this has to be done in the designated pit area.
4.There is no cutting the course. If caught cutting the course you will be docked two laps the first time and the second time your team will be disqualified. We will have a floating punch card and we will have flaggers at various places through out the track.
5.A helmet and motocross boots will be required.
6.All classes are 6 hours races, you will have the option to drop off at the 2 hour and 4 hour marks. We will award first place awards only to the 2 hour and 4 hours drop off winners.
7.Practice will be run in to groups. Teammate 1 and Teammate 2. Please be prepared to practice at 5 pm if you are starting the race. We will be started at 6 pm so we don’t run over 12am.
8.50cc stock appearing – motor, pipe, bars, tires, and shock must appear stock.
9.Youth 10’ – Must be under 16 as of Jan 1, 2007, 10’in rear wheel, unlimited modifications.
10.Youth 12’ – Must be under 16 as of Jan 1, 2007, 12’ rear wheel, unlimited modifications.
11. Over 30 - Must be over 30 years as of Jan 1,07. Unlimited modifications, rear wheel max 12'.
12 Big Wheel Open- Must be over 16 as of Jan 1, 07, unlimited modifications, max rear wheel 16 in, min rear wheel 14'.

Im getting excited about this race. Ive also recruited 2 more people.....and one's a girl.

Anyway you might want to bump the start time up a hour or so. In November its already dark at 6 pm.

The only reason I cant bump it up is becuase so many of the racers that came last time, work on Sat at dealerships and dont get off till 5:00 so they have a hard time making it any earlier, we even changed our fall series to start at 7 this fall instead of 6, for more convience to the racers.

This is going to be a great race!!! See you there!!

The team who rode the orion last race went all 6 hours, and came in 1st or 2nd. I cant rember what place with out looking. It did not have one problem except a flat tire. That was it. There were alot of diff kinds of bike at that race, we picked up parts from almost all of them but not the orion! Please dont start being negative in this thread, if that was your intention.

We will be having a drawing for a pit bike at the Orion Pit Bike Sales Texas Enduro pit bike race. Tickets will be $5.00 per ticket. Proceeds will go to Charity. The Charities will be the angle league kid’s organization out of Rowlett, TX and The Farmersville Volunteer Fire Dept. The kids need more money to play sports and The Fire Dept is volunteer and comes to all of our races free of charge as the EMT’s. We thought this would be a good way to pay them back for all they do in keeping the kids at Boondoxxx. You will have to be present at the race Nov 3rd to win. You don’t have to race just be present. We want the person to win to walk away with the bike that night, and so we can take pic’s. We have a link for online purchase of the raffle tickets. I will have the website updated tomorrow with a picture of the bike and all the spec’s. The bike that we are raffling off will be at round 2 and at the track till it is raffled off for you to see. They have starting working on the layout of the track for the enduro. It will be longer and more technical. This will be a great race and one you don’t want to miss. If this race is a sucess, we are talking about making a series for the enduro spread out over the course of next year.

Prizes so far are 2 fly helmets, 88 bore kit, 2 sets of handle bars, Orion prizes tba,contingencies and more from Randle Noel Yamaha, anti monkey butt powder and more to be announced!!

There will be several vendors at the race!!

We are also looking into a band for the race(if you know of a band that would like to play email me)...It will be a great night for a 6 hour endurance race thru 5 woods sections,3 or 4 tracks, and 4 grassy technical courses.

I just wanted to Thank Jermey Nichols and the whole LCS Minis crew for putting so much effort and work into the track for the endurance race. Clint, Jeff, Broc and the crew. Also thanks Cory and Tony for coming out to work on it. Hope I didn’t leave anyone out. This is going to be a great race. The track is longer and more technical. They will be finishing up the track for the enduro tommorrow night and Thrusday! This track is better than the first one, it is more cross country going and motocross mixed in. You will be going in the woods on some tight courses and jumping over the back of the berms...ITS CRAZY! Be sure to bring extra lights for your bike or helmet...Its going to be dark and wild!

This track is better than the first one, it is more cross country going and motocross mixed in.
