Racing on the Mini X Track
Practice at 6:00pm
Racing at 7:30pm

w/classes for 50cc-65cc 2-strokes
& 4 strokes up to 150cc
& most popular pit bike classes

something for everyone

special organized practice for this event
Tuesday night July 15

FROM MXcrazy:
By popular demand there will be pit bike racing on the Village Creek MiniXcross track, Saturday night, July 19th.

Practice begins at 6:00pm
Racing will start at 7:30pm

Texas Track Masters did a major upgrade to the V C MiniXCross just prior to the start of the night racing season .The track is scaled for the 50cc and 65cc bikes and it contains a varity of safe but interesting obstacles.

The track is always open for practice during all practice sessions and most night races.

The Mini X Cross Track has proven to be an ideal pit bike racing venue also. It drew rave reviews from the Texas Pit Bike Classic Series competitors recently.

The July 19th race is not a series race, but will offer most all the series classes. There is a class for everyone.

The Village Creek MiniXcross track is well lit for night racing and features a 12 man professional fall back starting gate--the same brand as is on the night track--and a concrete starting pad.

On Tuesday night, July 15th, organized practice--including gate starts--will be conducted on the MiniXcross course in preparation for this event.

Again, this is not a series race. It is a Village Creek production, with V C personnel and the "electronic flagger" safety light system will be utilized. This wireless, remote operated technology utilizes battery powered boxes with high intensity lights mounted strategically to warn of downed riders. "Electronic yellow flaggers".

This "electronic flagger" system has been used this season on the Village Creek night track to complement the human yellow flag crew. The high intensity yellow lights have proven to be much easier for riders to see, as opposed to yellow flags. The use of the "electronic flagger" technology on the minixcross track for this event demonstrates another great feature of the system---portability.

Look for a more consistant race program to evolve on the minixcross track and more organized practice sessions are a certainty.

The race on the 19th is not a WMA event. So it looks like Village.
