Re: New to Pitbikes

Just went and rode my first track tonight.... It wasn't a mini track, it was more like a farm field quad track. all was smooth for the most part, laying down in corner's is quite a bit different, and there was one 15 or 20 foot step down I was casing at first then I tried to clear it and landed hard in the flat.... the suspension bottomed hard and so did my helmet right into the ground, I broke the steering stop off of the front of the frame and loosened the bar riser from the triple clamp, but I'm not surprised as the weld's on pitster frames a cheeeeeese dick! I'll have to post pic's after we go back saturday.....

I'm a fabricator for a living, just cut a new piece of steel and welded it back on, steering stop fixed. And just tightened up the riser's, must have stretched the bolt's.
