South East Michigan

Anyone in Southeastern michigan area have any nice places they ride? I am looking for somewere to ride this spring and summer. I am in Lasalle, MI. Any ideas would be appreciated not much riding around here I have seen some nice looking tracks that look totally perfect for a pitbike but don't know who lives in these houses LOL

Re: South East Michigan

I have never been to his house but I have seen it many times and it looks pretty professional. I used to race big bikes with him in the 80's LOL. Have you ever been out to morroco road it is the dead end section near US 23 not much of a track but it can be kinda fun just whipping around, it is mostly sand and wood chips lots of whoops. there is a track there but last time I was there is was all nasty they never groom it. It is free but they have a donation box I usually put a few bucks in it. There is a bulldozer there but I don't think they ever use it, I actually never got there last year so it could be different. The two houses I am curious about are in the area. One is loacted maybe 1 mile down from Mudges on the same side of the road. The other is located off of Dixie hwy I think it is Luna Pier rd. Both look like perfect tracks for fiddys. What kind of bike do you have?

Re: South East Michigan

I have a nice track , I might have a couple ride days this year. It is a intermediate level track. I am In the richmond area. So once the snow melts, and we get some good weather, it will be good.

Re: South East Michigan

I just heard from a guy on ******** that April 5th would be the last pitbike night. I had ACL surgery Jan 9th so not sure if my knee is up to it. April 2nd I am getting fit for CTI brace so I am sure he will let me know if I can ride or not.

I plan on it at least to watch,, I almost got mine out today but still nervous about the knee. I think I would be alright just to shoot around the yard a bit.

Re: South East Michigan

when I bought it the guy had painted it red, I think he actually powder coated it. it is holding up really well. We need to keep this thread going maybe the owners of those homes with show face. I think if we went to mudges we could probably find whom owns that house down the street There are probably some good spray paints that would work well I am just not sure which ones.
