Backyard style pit bike race. 10 tri-axle loads of dirt delivered this week. Heavy equipment arriving next week to get the track dialed in. This is the
the 2nd year for this event. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association. Registration starts a 12pm, practice at 1pm, racing around 2:30pm. $30 entry fee, includes all day racing(with trophies), food and drinks. There will a 30+ class, 16over open, 8-15 open, 8 under open. Were keeping it simple and not going crazy with a million classes. After the race, we will be riding until dark and having fun. The track is spread out over 1.5 acre lot. The track is wide open and not too tight. Limited entry to 40 riders, so please pre-register by emailing me jeffw@saraa.org. Just drop me a line and let me know your name and how many are coming. Minors, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. See you all there.

Just as an FYI. If you try to Mapquest my address of 2144 N. Deodate Rd, Elizabethtown, Pa 17022, where the race is, you will find that the directions take you down the road from my house. If your coming from 283 east or west, get off the Toll House Rd. exit, go toward Rt.230. When you get to the red light at Rt. 230, make a left onto Rt. 230. Go past Saturdays Market on the left and then make a left onto N. Deodate Rd. (This will be a couple of miles from when you get onto Rt. 230) There will be large sign that says Pit Bike Race---->. Once you turn onto Deodate Rd, go 2.5 miles and my place is on the left hand side, parking will be in the field on the right. There will be signage. Track is in the back of my home in the large field.

I'd love to come, but it's about 1:30 from my house and I don't have anybody to come out with. Is it $30 admission for racers and spectators?

The $30 is for racers, i talked to Jeff, admission is FREE but they will take donations!! ALSO if any companys wants to DONATE anything for this, PM Jeff!
i am throwing in some goodies! This is what PITBIKE races are all about, good
backyard FUN! I know the track won't be made till next week so then he will get some pics. He's on vac. BUT it will be worth the drive!!

Hey Everyone, I'm down in Nags Head, NC for a weeks vacation. I will have pics of the track, but it won't be until Sept. 26th, at the earliest. That is the week we will be really putting the track together. I can tell you that the track is not going to have huge jumps, however, it will be fun and fast. There will be jumps, but not 60ft gaps. Whoop section, step down, double double, step up, bowl turns, etc. Trust me, you will have a good time. Unlimited track time before and after the race, so bring lots of fuel.

Anyway, see you all there, bring some friends and have great time for a good cause, The American Heart Association.

Just an FYI...There are about 25 entries that have made contact with me by email as of 9/22/07. I can only take 40 entries. If you plan on coming, please email me at jeffw@saraa.org and give me a heads up. Not only do I need a head count for riders, but also for guests, so I can make enough food for everyone and have plenty of drinks, etc. Thanks. Jeff Webb
