Latrobe I just added a big section to Latrobe speedway . Its going to be for the 8-24-08 day race. We need to have lots of pitbikes to race. I have been talking to some heads about getting D-5 points for next year so we can attend the banquet . I think it would be cool to have year end awards for all the pitbike classes. So get them bikes ready and plan to join us for the race. I wanna make a good impression on the district. for directions and race info try Latrobe Motorsports

Re: Latrobe Yeah lets let the district get involved so the prices go up and they get more money.I raced for 23 years on big bikes and it makes me sick now to see that it costs $30.00 or $35.00 to run just one class.Plus on top of that paying to get in.The promoters are going to kill the sport for people that just have a middle class income.I'll stick to running outlaw and running pitbikes untill the greed takes over for them to.

Re: Latrobe I guess i do agree with you on that. I myself race district 5 for about 20 years. Im just looking to get a little more for the guys that race every week. THey only charge us 25 to race pbikes . Latrobe has their own banquet for the series and i left there last year with about 300 dollars worth of gear. It would be nice to get to do 2 banquets.

Re: Latrobe I think just Latobe having the banquet is cool and that they recognize the pitbike class enough to give out awards. One of these nights me and my brother will come out and bang bars with you.Maybe pm me sometime and we'll meet up at creekside mx,I was there one day in may on my big bike and had the 50 out for a little while. It was cool being able to double that uphill triple.Your friend/ owner couldn't believe I could clear it on a home built 117 with a honda head and weighing 200#.
