Pit bike at washougal national

The pitbike race at washougal for the nationals will be on friday and signup will be at 4:00pm after all the big bike races are done. It will be just like all the others so it should be sick, come on out!

Is Friday confirmed?

I heard the race was Saturday after the qualifiers, so put in for that day off.

Re: Pit bike at washougal national

I talked with Rob Buydos on Monday. It is Friday Night for sure......be at the AMA trailer around 4-5 P.M. He is asking that everbody wears some sort of boot (hi or lo) because of an incident earlier in the year.....Come on all you NW mini riders. Bring your pitbikes it is a blast and only $20!!

Last time I wore my big boots I hit the shifter through the whoops... and you can imagine what happened. Alleeee---ooop!

try the 50/50 boots guys, most pitbike friendly boot I've found. Still somewhat bulky, but not bad.

I can't wear the slammers.... too stiff.

Then again... I am sporting size 13's so even tennis shoes are going to be bulky.

Re: Pit bike at washougal national

Do we get to race the whole track, a slightly shorter track, or a simple little loop?

I'll go race if it's the whole track, but won't waste my time for a little loop like the last pit bike thing a couple months ago at Washougal.

It'll be a little loop if it's at all like all the rest in the past.

LOL. I could care less if it's only a grass track, I'll be giving it a shot!

I paid $30 (including admission) for the last "pit bike race" at Washougal that consisted of 10 minutes of riding in circles after the races were over.
The race prior to that at Hindsight put on by the Rock Star guys had the promoters not even show up for the race and many upset racers.
The race at pit bike race at PIR also had the Rock Star promototers blow it off. This might be "why the sport is fading".

If I could, I'd pay to race a full regular class at Washougal that included the full track.

JJW does a great job promoting his events and I expect all the Mad Minis riders to be at PIR this thursday for his pit bike race.

Re: Pit bike at washougal national

Unfortunately, most people have jobs and can only pull off a weekend pitbike race. A Thursday night race 4 hours away would be hard to do. But you can see most of us at Washougal and Spokane the next two weekends. Hope to see you there!!

Re: Pit bike at washougal national

Easy guys easy guys, relax were all friends here, we just need to all make as many races and lil loop races as we can, keep the sport up, i no the National thing aint about pit bikes but they are letting yall ride there so go up and do it you know. Twister you should try to get into a big class you gots the motor to do it you know, that would be pretty sick on a pit bike to launch of the to off the hill sweet stuff.
