I've learned from dealing on here that guys who request money orders and not Paypal are usually gonna scam you.

I bought some forks of some dude couple yrs ago and he said he didnt like Paypal cause they "screw you over" and well I got screwed by him by doing a money order.

So just be carefull when dealing with sellers who request money orders.

That's not a true statement. I flat out won't take paypal on expensive items because paypal can do what ever they please in a dispute, can keep your funds and aren't a regulated bank or credit card company.

Bottom line is as buyers, you need to protect yourself and not have blind faith with people you don't know. You can get screwed in numerous ways and when dealing with high $$ items, either get to know who you do business with or do business in person.

I flat out WILL NOT deal with anyone( including you Z) who will not take paypal. I will gladly add 3% so the seller doesn't lose out.

Always pay with a credit card, period. It is the only way to protect yourself from bogus sellers!!

There's other ways to pay with a credit card that isn't paypal... Paypal does not protect sellers...

I have over 300 paypal transaction w/o a problem and have only had to file one time and won that suit. It did take 5 months which is why now I guard myself with American Express

I think the buyer would need to have a confirmed address and a verified account. (You pretty much know they aren't going to bone you if they have those 2 things..)

Just so everyone is aware, as a buyer or a seller, you are not protected by Paypal if the sale happens out side of ebay. Even with ebay items you're not really protected. Paypal does what ever they want and you'll have no recourse. I've been on the short end as a buyer, and called Paypal after they closed the fraudulent claim and they stated to me that I wasn't protected if the sale was outside ebay.

Best way to protect yourself is to always pay with a credit card through ebay or otherwise.

So Matty.. that's at least 2 people you tried to screw on those forks huh? One person figured out you were a lieing cheating douchebag but you still managed to screw my buddy after you lied about the condition, lied about what you were going to send in the deal (by not sending all the parts) and then refused to refund any money.

Sounds like your the same level of dirtbag.
