zb50 frame

is a good condition used frame worth 100 dollars? i came across one and am looking to pick it up for a future build, stick her in the barn till i get around to it type thing.

thanks, i might just pull the trigger, i love the zb's and figure piece by piece i can have one in a few years, just like johnny cash and his cadillac!

Piecing together a ZB50? That $100 frame is going cost you a fortune over the next couple of years and some parts will be very difficult to find.

Make sure all the brackets are on the frame, it has a valid vin you can read and isn't bent.

I did the opposite. I started with a 550 mile ZB50 and only used the frame and wiring harness and the rest is aftermarket. After I sold off the spare parts, the frame and wiring harness was free.

If the frame your referring to is on boston craigslist, i bought that a year ago and the guy never shipped it to me.Ill bet its the same person.Just be careful.

I wish I had started with a $100 frame and not a $1200 very good condition ZB. There aren't many stock parts left on the bike: frame, tank, seat, wiring harness, rectifier, rear fender.
