Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please Offset front triples unless you like stuffing the tire into the engine even with the longer 2004 NSR50 fork legs.

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please a buddy of mine has a yx150 stuffed into his stock chasis zb50. another thing to think about is the clearance of the carb. you may have to cut up the intake and get it to fit. and isn't the exhaust port angled differently? which will require bending the exhaust a little? i'd hate to see that nice exhuast of yours bent up.

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please You can take the whole ignition and backing plate off your current engine. Some of the newer YX's have a Honda carb and exhaust arrangement, I hear. Stay on top of the clutch nut... Maybe the Lifan 150, unless you plan on going a bunch bigger? Then you get an integral oil filter, easy clutch access, narrower right side of the motor, Honda compatability, more torque stock, etc

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please Great looking bike! Any of the bigger motors are going to move the exhaust port 9mm farther forward. Is the 100 stock? A 54mm jug and higher compression piston, some port work and a cam should add about 50% more power if it's a stocker.

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please its a 50 motor with a 50mm crank and 50mm bore and piston i want to say its a 70 cylinder cause its longer and the guy had to add a link or so to the cam chain its just hard to beat the power for the price with those yx motors for what i would spend on a crank, cylinder, etc i could just get a stock i50cc or 160cc and just bolt it in but im still up in the air on it

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please I still think the front end of your bike looks off. Do some basic upgrades to the motor and get yourself an offset tripple.
