Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please That right there is a real nice example IMO. I'd personally recommend a Lifan 150 with the daytona clutch cover. Then, either sell off the outer rotor and get a lighting coil version or wire it up and have lights. Then, get a new z40 cam, do a little port work, and a high-compression piston (take it out to 57mm) and call it a day. You'll be in for about $650 and it will run 65mph all day long.

Im running the G Craft 55mm offset, and i believe quite a few other guys on here are as well. Quality is great and they let you retain the key lock mechanizum for when its parked. Not sure if the OVER triples support that. ![]()

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please Just about anything over 140cc (GPX, lifan, knock-off, ect.) is a KLX style head from the research iv done. NCC sells tha KLX to honda head pipe adapter. I dont know, for the trouble im with chris. Go 140 and bolt it in.... can still use your oil cooler, head pipe ect.... If itst not enough power we can build it. ~Shawn

The lifan 150 does not have the KLX type head, and I saw first hand last week a 160 that does have the KLX type fitted with a Tri-Oval...... Victor | |

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please "Well your research is not very far reaching because there are plenty of engines over here" Well im not over seas am i? Im not 100% in the lifan, because chris is leaning toward the GPX. "and I saw first hand last week a 160 that does have the KLX type fitted with a Tri-Oval......" Well you can run honda exhaust 3 ways on KLX head. 1. Hack up your head pipe (wich im sure chris is willing to hack up his new TI exhaust) 2. Buy a crapy adapter. 3. Use a KLX exhaust. The KLX ehaust is more under the head and the honda is more on the side. I called Pitster, dr atv and a few others and obviously you know more than them sence you know "first hand". Maybe chris and and myself will just fly over there and find all the motors in the world. Ill do more research next time...... sorry ~Shawn Last edited by shawnbassett26; 06-19-2008 at 11:01 AM.

Re: thinking of a gpx160 in my zb? thoughts and help please Hey Shawn, Dont take it the wrong way buddy, get over it....I just pointed out that there are motors out there that have the KLX type head that will accept a standard Honda monkey type exhaust, thats all, no cutting or adaptors needed. Before you open your mouth next time check your facts..........and read what I typed.. Victor...........out
