I ordered a Takegawa manifold and carb kit ,Mikuni VM 26, for the Zb,I am currently using a Keihin 24mm.I am hoping the new manifold and carb will help me out with the flat spot between the mid range and top end.
I have a 115cc Takegawa Super head kit on the bike and a Kitaco down exhaust.I have never messed with a Mikuni carb.Can any one tell me what jet set up they are using.Also what is the best air filter to use with this set up.I live a Sea Leavel.
I am also using a older Kitaco programable ignition box.Will a Kitaco
high out put coil help or should I keep using the stck coil.
Trying to get the ZB ready for Spring time.Thanks for any help you can send my way

I may be wrong but a 26 seems a tad big for a 115CC

Im running a 26 mikini with my trail bikes 108 kit and 17/31.seems to be a good matchand runs good .using a takaga straight back manifold(made just for the zb).for wiw, the mikuni that came with the tb kit seems to be a copy of the real mikuni with kinda crude castings that dont seem on par with tipical mikuni quality(like a fake rolex watch from mexico)

VM26 should be fine for your set up. Only advise with jetting is go to your local honda dealer order a few jet sizes and start jetting. No one can tell you what jet you need. Even if they had the same set up, no motor is alike.

Its a true Mikuni VM26 - we buy them direct from Mikuni. Compare one to one bought from BBR or any other vendor selling actual Mikunis.

love my Trail Bikes 108 racehead kit and 26 mic carb,great value for the money.ive put 1500 mis already and she starts up 1st or second kick.would buy it again,runnin 17/31 (63mph)but gona try 16/31 for better acceleration but possibly a lil slower top speed
