Talking Tbolt lied............but in a good way!

Just got my engine today, it came with WAY more stuff than Vince said it would. Very happy to see that it came with an air filter, braided throttle and clutch cables (not listed that it would) and about every piece of hardware you'd ever need. Way way way happy! Went down in the basement at 9pm after the kids went to sleep and had it running (including swapping out my ZB stator) before midnight! Started 2nd kick and just needed the idle speed set so far. I didn't bother installing the included red anodized dress up kit or either of the TWO (?) billet red dipsticks supplied. I still need to mount the oil cooler somewhere, have no idea yet as it is huge, so I just bypassed it with a hose to get it running. The clutch cable hooked up perfectly to my $7 parts unlimited clutch perch assy and even used my BBR throttle housing and cable. May venture out to downtowm Atlanta tomorrow night on it.

It was the KRP140, my criteria sounds wierd but I was more interested in black engine covers and a $350 budget instead of performance.

mine didnt come with the braided cables. really good running engine though. Had to jet mine though, and the jet kit tbolt sells you for that is a hookup, came with 10 mains and 5 pilots for 35 bucks, pretty good deal.

What did you use for jetting? Mine did seem a little lean when I was playing on it today.

Its cool when people post up positive experiences with vendors on here. not many people do and I bet it makes the vendors glad to know people appreciate what they do. Vince has always got my stuff out to me way fast and has gone out of his way to save me money on shipping when some parts had to be shipped out of another location.

Enjoy that new motor!

Just want to say that I agree with ya... Vince is a good guy.. He's helped me with two of my big builds... The last one was more like a special order that he pieced an engine package together for me.. Not too shabby, Vinny.
