| Re: some zB questions Congrats on getting a ZB! What are some of the best things to do to make it better to drive on the street? The opinions will vary. It is really up to the rider and how much money you have. But I warn you now. It starts off this way and next thing you know, you don't even want to know how much money you've spent on the ZB project. Engine/motors IMO, the 49cc is not good for fun, safe riding. You can upgrade with 88cc kits and a manual clutch conversion on the stock cases. There are some good knockoff motors available that will get you were you want to go faster and cheaper. Exhaust and carb The stock exhaust is very restrictive. Even if you keep the stock motor, a carb and exhaust upgrade will get you some additional mph. Suspension It is a great idea to upgrade the shock and forks. There are some aftermarket shocks available and some tuning options for the forks. Tires Some very cool street tires available for the stock 10 wheels to make your zb funner to ride. Other things Things like smaller turn signals and a cooler stock-looking handlebars can make your riding experience more enjoyable. tmas has one of the best, stock looking ZBs that performs well. But then again, he has several ZBs. Check the sticky thread with pictures of everyone's ZB pics to get some cool ideas. 1988 Honda ZB Bike Pictures peace, bobbyV Last edited by 1TrikZB; 05-09-2008 at 01:24 AM.
