I'm thinking of switching my out my stock st90 motor with my honda crf50 pitbike motor with takegawa 115 superhead and takegawa 3 speed tranny. I'm looking for a five speed tranny for it. I would like to find a pipe for it too. I have lots of crf50 parts to trade if interested.

I'm in process of picking up a real 1988 honda zb50, so now I listed this skyteam up for grabs. It has a little over 300km's on it. It has clear Washington title and has owners manual and tool kit included. Check out thred under bikes for sale titled skyteam st90.

are you going to put the superhead in the zb?

not sure yet, the zb has ct70 4-speed tranny, and tb108 stroker kit on it. So I want to try that and compare it to my 115 superhead. I was planning on getting a 5-speed gear set for 115 dirt motor, but their spendy. Are you interested in the superhead? The zb has a ct70 head that has been ported and polishied. So I can run that until I figure out what combo. to run. I'm open to offers and have a bunch of crf50 stuff to get rid of.

5 speeds are cool but be careful kick starting it as they have been known to break 1st gears. A decomp cam setup might be a good match to help save them.

The 5 speeds are not that difficult to install. I believe Paunchy has some pics posted when we put one in his 124+r.

Thanks for the info. Brad. I will keep that in mind. I would hate to spend that much money on 5-speed gear set, and bust 1st kicking it over.
