Re: Overhauling / Upgrading Stock ZB50 Forks Contact the PM member RJPracing here in the forums (After Vegas). They have the same internals as NSR50 fork legs and you can revalve, respring and add emulators to make these top notch. However, most people upgrade to NSR50 front suspension so you can run disc brakes and 12" wheels.

Re: Overhauling / Upgrading Stock ZB50 Forks Thanks Dan Yes , the upgrade to a disc front end is deffinatly the way I aim to go , but this will be long term project , after the ZB finally gets its UK Registration & MoT . I was contemplating sticking with the standard forks , brake & wheel setup for the rebuild & shakedown, then slowly changing items as time progresses. I shall be staying with 10" wheels, as i'm not a personal fan of 12" wheels , but the 'larger wheel' builds do look very good. Do you have any comments on the Drum Brakes on the ZB50. Are they like other Monkey Bikes at speed with a larger CC motor fitted ?? ...... Poor ! Thanks Richard

Re: Overhauling / Upgrading Stock ZB50 Forks Drum brakes stopping from 55-65mph is not my cuppa. They heat up and fade. If you plan on upgrading your front end later, don't dump $$ into your current setup..

Re: Overhauling / Upgrading Stock ZB50 Forks so what are some quick upgrades for the zb forks? heavy oil, and atc springs are the only upgrades i heard of so far. do nsr preload adjusters & springs fit in the stock zb forks? i wonder if you could install zb fork legs onto nsr forks.

Re: Overhauling / Upgrading Stock ZB50 Forks I'd be interested in knowing the same. I need to do something with the stock suspenders on this thing also.

Re: Overhauling / Upgrading Stock ZB50 Forks you are talking about upper and lower fork legs right? what is the deal with the triples? can i buy nsr triples for my zb50 forks? i should just buy nsr forks complete and throw my zb lower fork legs on them then sell the zb junk w/ nsr lower legs to someone who wants to do disc brakes.
