Monkey-R parts update... Made In Italy

We will start with the stopping power...

And to prove it's the width that counts more than the length...

And now what you have all been waiting for... The glory of the Magnesium Marvic 7-spoke wheels...

We thought they were only going to be able to come in the natural gold-ish color but they came in black.

Very nice rims and Brembo calipers. Have you decided what rubber your putting on the Marvic's?

Re: Monkey-R parts update... Made In Italy

Is it bad I'm considering doing a little "work" to brand new Marvic wheels?

Re: Monkey-R parts update... Made In Italy

I am dissapointed you opted for the 4 pot Brembo over the radial...

Just be warned the 4 pots are only 800% over the maximum required braking power. I know I feel much safer with my radial brembo calipers. It feels good to know you have 1200% over the maximum required braking power.

I sleep a little better knowing that I have abundant braking resources...

why would you want forged aluminum wheels when you get lighter and stronger with mag?

I don't plan on using the brakes so the 4 pots are good.
