Monkey forks, triples and disc brake on a ZB? I ran across this ebay listing in Germany: Honda Monkey Telegabel mit Scheibenbremsanlage neu bei eBay.de: Markenspezifische Teile (endet 25.05.08 20:04:33 MESZ) I also see another PM member is selling a similar set, but hasn't responded to prospective buyers offers. Will these fit on a ZB? I assume the fork legs are 30 mm and if so the stock trees can be used. It looks Chinese. Is it? Is that disc much better than the stock drum? 4 spokes in the front 3 in the back? ![]() And fatcaaat, you better not jack those from under me

Re: Monkey forks, triples and disc brake on a ZB? Thats a skyteam part thats right. you can use that fork but to have it good you must make some modify on it. better is to buy a front fork from a z50r or z50rt becourse thats orginal honda with brake disk. regards LordAcid

Re: Monkey forks, triples and disc brake on a ZB? I have more trust in my little drum brakes and 20year old forks than that skyteam stuff..... There is a reason why the german ebay is flooding with PBR parts.......not many people buy the bike if they know anything about mechanics, so the dealers part them out. This guy must have thought he had a good deal.....until he got the postman delivering the box.....hehehehe

Re: Monkey forks, triples and disc brake on a ZB? I mean to say that the standard skyteam stuff I have seen (forks) was pretty poor from casting point of view and machining. The springs felt like an airpump (almost no damping) and the disc brake was not inline and needed grinding on the caliper to clear it (or shims). There could be better ones around (other production plant maybe) and I am sure that the stuff will work, but I would not put my money on it. BTW I am only talking about the skyteam fork that was shown in the Ebay listing, yours looks very cool. Which forks do you have?
