| Headlight mounting help need help/suggestions on mounting the Buell headlight I got. It has two tabs up top and one on the bottom. It would be nice if those tabs were on the bottom but no such luck. for the top I was thinking of things like welding some tabs off the bottom of the top clamp, or tweaking a set of generic clamp on headlight mounts to work here are some pics of the relative mounting location: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Re: Headlight mounting help Is there any way to turn the cases upside down and invert the lenses? Or would the cases not look right upside down? If not, you can mount it off the end of the clipons by inserting some star fangled nuts into the tubes. Then bend a short bracket from the clipons to the mounting tabs. The lower mount should be easy. Another is to extend some mounts under the top triple and bolt the bracket like you suggested. Last edited by shw911; 09-03-2008 at 02:33 AM. |
