I'm sure the pictures don't do the gold justice.

Which ZB is this going onto?

Re: Fresh Paint for the ZB tank

The gold looks great. Hopefully we'll see you and the tank in Monterey in 2 weeks?

For the lip, just get a little jar of POR15. Paint it on and use the leftover to coat another tank.

nope. i wouldnt but the por on fresh paint as it could lift it, and it the gas still could seep in.

in all honesty, jb weld or similar 2 part epoxies will do the trick. but what do i know, im not a custom painter by trade or anything.

great to see something different, haven't seen a gold one yet. Don't roll it through any section 8 housing areas. They might try and jack you for it.

Want me to ask my cousin Javier about the diamond tuck and roll seat upholstery? Just let me know if you want mirrors inlaid over the top and I'll get you pricing...

yeah the mural would have been a bit much. i'm not mexican but i do admit the gold has some lowrider flavor.

now if only i can get the hydros or air bags to fit
gonna take this into the custom sportbike realm

Re: Fresh Paint for the ZB tank

I'm glad you scratched the mural, to be honest I couldn't understand why you were going to have "el carless whisper" airbrushed on the side (The picture of your daughter I thought was cool). That name just doesn't sound right for a zb....Maybe you should go with something more....or maybe less sensitive...

How about "El Golden Chango"
