yamaha blaster help

i have a 1999 blaster and the clutch just stopped working i was going down a hill and when i went to go again the clutch was slipping a lot and the clutch arm didn't really move like it was stick so you were holding the clutch lever in.
today i took it apart and put it back together and now it doesn't work at all.
does anyone know what the problem could be??

Re: yamaha blaster help

Did you just pull the cover off or did you pull the whole clutch assy. out and apart? If you had the whole thing apart, then did you put the little ball back in?

Re: yamaha blaster help

today i took off the cover on the left side and i saw that the chain was smacking the case because it was so loose and when it was hittin it made the case bend in a little so that the clutch arm counldn't go in all the way i fixed that problem know but the clutch is still slipping
