a while back someone talked about putting cheap irk on xr 100 motor.
what all was involved and got any pics.

I put them on XR80's. The 100 has a different seal setup and would be trickier, plus there are good ones for those. Pricey, but good. CHP might sell the backing plate seperate and you could load it with $40 eBay parts.

I just went out to look, and making a plate for a 100 won't be a big deal. I'd still see if CHP has them. They have the parts for 50 versions.

I was considering putting one on my 80 or 100 (I have both) Was it worth it? How did you do it? Is the crank the same size & just the backing plate that needs fab'd or is there more?

Just the backing plate needs modded and some spacers made. I like it, but it's not as smooth if you aren't
