| Re: What is a good fork coversion for crf230??? ^^ 2003 was the first year the 150/230's came out. You'll get a lot of info. over on Thumpertalk about the fork conversion. A lot of guys go with the CR250 forks I believe. But, most have to shorten the forks because they are long. They say the CR85's are too small of a fork for the larger 230. On the 150's, they work good, but since the 230 is a larger bike all around, the 85 forks are pretty dinky. Getting this info. from the guys over on TT. There are a lot more modifications to do for the 125/250 forks than if you were using the 85 forks. |
