some big bore ??'s

OKay, I want to get more out of my TT-R 125. I Have a few question's about the BBR 150 BBK w/cam.

1) What jets should i run? (I use stock filter and have a FMF Power core on it.)
2) What would be minimum octane i could run in it?
3) Should I get the head ported and polished while it is apart?
4) How reliable is the BB engine? I usually ride it every other day or so.

Thanks,
Tyler

Not sure about the jetting for the stock carb. When I had my TTR150 I ran the 26mm BBR carb.

BUT, I can tell you this...The BBR 150 BBK is SUPER reliable. I purchased my TTR used from a race buddy of mine who raced it since 2000. I purchased the bike in 2005, and ran the bike for another year on the same motor. The bike started to puff some smoke, so it was then freshened up.

The BBR kit makes a very nice increase in power from stock. Nice torque, but still is pretty dead on top like all TTR's are.

I would recommend the 26mm carb. if money is not an issue. Purchase a Honda XR200 carb. and buy the BBR carb. adapter. A lot cheaper than purchasing from BBR. The carb. BBR sells is from an XR200.

Re: some big bore ??'s

If you want a god kit check out the Powroll 160cc kit with the 170cc stroker. Its the ****. I have the BBR 150 kit and I wont run anything thats not 110, but I have heard that the ProV1 is the shizz for that motor. The BBR carb is junk compared to a flatside carb. To get away from the dead top end just keep on shifting up. Theres jumps I would hit 4th pinned and tag, when I pulled into 5th I was over shooting.
