kitaco 145 se dyno

Does anyone have any dyno numbers for this kit (for the xr100)? Ive been thinking about getting it and im trying to decide if the $$$ would be worth the hp gain.

I found a dyno of the kitaco 143cc se kit for the klx110 and it puts out 15.5 hp. Would it be reasonable to assume that the kit for the xr100 puts out about the same power?

That would be my guess, Around 15 hp, give or take 1.

I may be interested In your 120 BBR kit and head. If your going to let it go reasonable?

I'd call up kitaco, I'm sure they have a dyno for it. I don't think spending any money in a xr/crf 100 is worth it IMO. I have 2 they're both stock

ya if i get this kit ill let you know. im not sure how soon its gonna be. i have to wait and see how much money i earn this summer.

i still have to figure out what im gonna do for an oil cooler. the xr400 oil coolers are impossible to find on ebay.

any other ideas for an oil cooler for an xr100? you think its even necessary for this kit?

Re: kitaco 145 se dyno

I don't think it is nessary, good insurance tho.

I don't remember if Socal got one? (cooler that is) With his kit.

BBR is a Kitaco dealer, may be they have some inforamation regarding Kitaco coolers for there 145 SE kit. If you didn't want to try DIY kit.

Larry is the BBR rep. that deals with Kitaco.

Should be able to moc up a mini/pit bike cooler???

i was thinking of running the honda trail bikes oil cooler on my xr100:

Honda Trail Bikes

its for a klx110 but im sure theres a way to rig it up for the xr100. however its another $200 that i wouldnt want to spend unless necessary.

Re: kitaco 145 se dyno

with my conversion we ran a cooler behind the radiator shroud with custom made graphics, you just need to tap into your oil passages on the motor to pull the feed lines
