tryin to finish up my crf80/115 motor build, and need to know what throttle cable will work with the 200x carb. figured i might could do a twist throttle kit from rockymountain, but they didn't have one for the 200x...

200x throttle search on the Bay shows a bunch. You could just cut back the outer of your stocker and solder the end back on.

Several others have used a CR85 throttle and cable. The cable will be just a few centimeters too long.

thanks guys. i'll probobly just order a cr85 cable then. will it fit my stock throttle, or do i actually need to get a new throttle?

I think you have to buy the whole throttle. You can find them on eBay for cheap.

sweet. will do. seems they have multiple different models though. around what year am i supposed to be looking for? what year cable/throttle that is.

I think 2003 and up will work and are all the same. To get the correct length cable, you can call up Motion Pro and have them make a cable for you for about $30. A CR85 cable will still work though.
