problems with GYTR big bore kit I put the GYTR kit into my kids TTR50 last night. The bike idles beautifully but wont rev. Instantly dies when you twist the throttle! Has the GYTR exhaust also but that is it for mods. Put on the carby from the kit which obviously had the jets already installed but also came with a couple of spare sizes. WHat should I be running? Any ideas why it would die when the throttle is twisted? Seams to clear itself if you pin it and wait! Any help would be great as the Yamaha dealer just shrugged his shoulders!!

You gotta love those stealerships huh? I guess he just wants you to come down and pay their ridiculous labor rates for them to sort it out for you. I'm no expert but it sounds like it's starving for fuel. Try raising the needle in the clip, and richen the air screw. If that doesn't work, try the next biggest main jet.

my kit had a small hesitation when getting on it after installing all the above items except I have a DrD. Pipe. Put in bigger main and richen air screw and all was cleaned up. It was too lean.

Checked gaps last night and they were too tight. Common problem after a bbk break in, set them to the settings in the manual ans she fired right up
