SSR Pitbike

Hey all, i'm interested in buying a SSR Pitbike. Is this a good brand to buy? Is it durable, and will it last as long as a Honda without problems? What should i look out for if im buying it slightly used?

Re: SSR Pitbike

Which bike are you looking at? They have some pretty good stuff and with regular maintenance you should be fine.

They make good, rideable bikes. Just stay on top of your maintenance.

Which model are you looking for?

Re: SSR Pitbike

if you're going to buy a roller check out medina's rollers they look good and feedback on them has been steller.

Look them up in the vendor section. under clone rollers.

Re: SSR Pitbike

thanks thats actually the roller i was looking at. i would have to wait to save $$ for the motor, but if it's worth it over buying a bike under 1k that i wouldn't be happy with. i'm all for it.

another questions is that i live in cali and i would need a green sticker, would i be able to get one??

SSR bikes are junk. What you mean by "maintenance" is watching out for every bolt to come loose even with lock tite and hoping that the POS will even run. China lover!!!!!

mine didn't even have the chance to get beat on and it's a pain to keep running. Complete POS. Never buying another SSR in my life.
