Re: rebuild kits Mine was a POS. It allowed moisture into the system too easily. I just switched to a different style one from ebay with a remote resivoir. Been awesome ever since.

Re: rebuild kits lol they use the same master cylinder. Take yours apart and find what you need to replace. Its most likely the oring that goes on the piston that the rod pushes. Its a very cheap design and I just switched with another ebay master I had laying around.

Re: rebuild kits well i borrowed some tools and tried 50 different o-rings and not one helped.so i then replaced the rubber centered washers with crush washers.reverse bled the system and maxed out the brake rod adjustment.i now have enough pressure to see the brake pads move but not enough to stop the bike. it does push and pull a bit of brake fluid through the bleed screw less than one oz. the caliper is not stuck. any more ideas?

Re: rebuild kits Yea you almost have to use a vacuum bleeder with these brakes. I bought a cheapy one off ebay and it works really well. Whats kind of crappy about the bleeder screw is the threads aren't really precise in any way. I had to wrap mine in teflon tape just to correctly bleed them. eBay Motors: NEW BRAKE BLEEDER VACUUM PUMP KIT ~ AUTOMOTIVE TOOLS (item 380067262981 end time Sep-27-08 17 30 PDT)
