Re: help a noob please. to set the idle just start it and make small adjustments (in or out) till you like the way the bike is running then rev it a little and if its still good then your done on the carb the needle might be stuck or the float is set wrong try playing with it or riding for a while with the gas barely turned on and see if it un-sticks

Re: help a noob please. That hose is an overflow. If gas is comming out of it you might have a problem with your floats. The screw with the spring on it is your idle. The other one is either a fuel or an air screw. Im thinking its a fuel screw though. Last edited by SLAyER; 07-18-2008 at 06:17 PM.

Re: help a noob please. well she runs fine now, starts at the first kick, but every time I run it I have to set the little gas flow thingy under the tank halfway between of and on if I leave it "on" when the bike is off it will leak like crazy.? if the float were to be stuck the bike wouldn't start right?

Re: help a noob please. it will still run with the float stuck as long as its stuck down not up the float is on the bottom of your carb it gets pushed up by gas when its full and stops the gas coming into your card then as you use it it opens allowing more gas in yours is just stuk down take your carb off and take the 4 scures out of the bottom and the bole off and u will see that i mean

Re: help a noob please. bump back from the dead I am sorry. (didn't wanna make another thread) well I have been riding this bike not to hard core because I want her to last me a little while. well I was riding last weekend and the tensioner* or that little roller that tightens the chain fell off and I was wondering if there is a better one I can buy or anything I can do so it wont wear down on the swing arm. That is the main thing I cant ride with out that... on to the second part. I was wondering what simple mods I can do to this to start out what are some good websites to buy some go fast goodies.? I know this has been asked a million times, but I would appreciate it if some one pointed me in the right path... thanks in advance every one I'll will need all the help I can get thank you.

Re: help a noob please. i'd put a "uni" air filter on it. that will add a little bit. also a platinum plug wouldn't hurt. you have urself a pretty cheaply made pitbike. i don't mean anything by that (i had one for a year like urs and it was sweet to ride) so ur gonna have a lot of things break or not work properly. i ended up ditching it and buying an ogm. best decision i made.
