| CRF Import Wiring Guide OK guys, here we go. This is it. No diagrams, no drawings. Just pics. Here, we have the 5 wires coming from the stator ![]() Note these two wires: (yellow and white) ![]() We will NOT need these wires. Yellow is for lights and white is for a neutral indicator lamp. Moving on to the KILL SWITCH: ![]() Your kill switch may ground itself on the bars. The green wire is a ground. Black wire goes to the CDI. Moving on to the COIL: ![]() We have a RED/BLACK wire, and a green wire. Green wire is a ground. Here's one more picture showing the coil. It's a stock china coil from an SSR bike and the red/black and green wires are attached. ![]()

| alright guys - let's get some more wiring diagrams in here.... I'll find all I can and get them up. Anything you guys find -- leave links here. I'll fetch the images and get them on my stable server so they don't go anywhere....

| I found this one over at dratv.com. My Zongshen 120 has six wires out of the stator color-coded like in the diagram. Cheers, #319 |

| Regulators usually have one wire (yellow) to accept input from the lighting coil. They have one wire, green or black to go to ground, and a red wire that will be your 12v positive regulated output.

| is there a way to check the wires coming out of the stator to see for sure which one it is, should I be able to check it with a volt meter, and will it be ac or dc |

| The whole system is a 12vDC. This page should help you figure out any system that you may have: http://www.hooperimports.com/showpages.asp?pid=1013 Troy |

| I understand that its 12v but I think its ac before the rectifier because straight out of the stator I get ac voltage but no dc voltage. does anybody know the test procedure for the wires at the stator?? |

| Here is a pic of diagram. In China green is ground instead of black. Flameout is Kill switch. You can ignore the electric start stuff. . 12 volt Chinese engine project involves 2 wires from the engine- usually Black/red from engine can also be yellow/red in some cases is power to cdi box- usually goes to red/yellow in the harness-leads to CDI box Blue/white from engine can also be red/white in some cases and is the cdi trigger/pulse- One wire from the CDI box to the Coil (+), Coil (-) goes to ground. Black/yellow wire from cdi box harness goes to the coil + which can be black/yellow stripe or black/white stripe . This will get a 12 volt engine running. | ok... i am so puzzled... Basically I have a SSR110A-1 it has a yellow wire and a white wire. I get AC voltage out of the yellow wire. I bought a 3 wire regulator/rectifier from a local shop (its from an artic cat but should still work fine i would think) The regulator/rectifier has Yellow, Red, and Black wire. I plugged the yellow wire from the reg/rect to the yellow wire on the bike. I hooked the black wire to ground and I only get 3 volts DC out of the red wire instead of 12v Do you guys think thta maybe my regulator/rectifier is effed.. or just wrong since its for an artic cat snowmobile? oh yeah.. don't know if this will help but the regulator has the following part numbers.. ARCTIC 0630-105 and 01-154-18 Last edited by panaman; 11-25-2006 at 09:28 AM. |

| the one in the picture is a regulator/rectifier I assume you can get just a regulator and just a rectifier if you wanted |

| First post. Hi all. Anyway, heres a pic i found of the kitaco inner rotor copy wiring diagram. Bought one off ebay, and it didnt come with wiring instructions. Worked for me just great! If your bike has a killswitch thats earths to the bars, the earth to frame wire should not be connected to the frame or misfiring, popping and banging will occur! (as i found out!). Simply connect the earth to the neg (black on my chinese copy) wire of the killswitch. Last edited by RuSoLiNiO; 05-03-2007 at 02:24 AM. |
