| Carb problems ok so my little bro broke his throttle cable on his orion and i got a new one and slapped it on and now his bikes acting up hardcore. The bike will start and run with the choke on but when you turn the choke off it backfires through the carb and pops and then eventuallt dies. The bikes also smoking white in a bad way!!! tried adjusting the needle up to the middle clip but not any better. The plug is soaking wet when i pull it out also so i dunno wtf... HELP!! |

| Re: Carb problems Tare down the carb, clean it out, make sure the float isnt sticking. Makes sure the throttle cable is long enough, so its not pulling the carb open at all. Re set your idel screw. |

| Re: Carb problems where should the idle screw be setting? I mdae sure that the needle was closing all the way, u think the float could do this? |

| Re: Carb problems make sure the carb is clean and that the throttle cable has enough travel. |
