150 vs 160 went riding today...rode pretty hard. My buddy (gpx150) and I (gpx160) practiced some starts. He got me out of the whole like 5 out of 6. His bikes definatley revs faster. Hes got like half a bike length up into 3rd gear. He's also 30 /40 lbs lighter. I'm putting on a 177BBK with a V2 and a 28 Tb carb. Things better be different next weekend

Re: 150 vs 160 My son has a 160 in his Pitster and I think it revs faster then his 150. It also has a lot more off the bottom.

Re: 150 vs 160 did you swap bikes? Maybe his technique is better? Gearing? Tires?

Re: 150 vs 160 no..didn't swap bikes..probably should have. Gotta be the weight, right? Another observation, his tire has some definate wear on it and mine was day 1 on a Dunlop 756. Seems like he could dump it and get more wheel spin than front end lifting.

Re: 150 vs 160 I know first hand its a pretty big deal....My buddy and I both run 125 Jialing/GPX's, I have a 12" rear he has a 10" rear. He still pulls away from me on long straights due to me being about 50 pounds heavier than him. I think my engine is even tuned better than his

| Re: 150 vs 160 I know Hack has mentioned the 160 doesn't seem to lunch cranks like the 150, this is the first I'm hearing of case differences. Can you point out any specific changes?

Re: 150 vs 160 160 cranks are good, 150 cranks suck, both cases have issues.

Re: 150 vs 160 as Hack said, they both have case issues, but the 160 is the next step in the evolution, the webbing is thicker. in the near future you will see both the 150,160, and new 170 with very strong and improved cases ,with almost all issues addressed.
