I wanted to extend this invitation to any PM.com rider, since I'm on here more often then totalruckus.com now. It's a nice long cruise...I would like to invite any two-wheelers to come and ride out with us.

Next ride is July 26 at 11am at the Pike Bar in Long Beach (1836 E. 4th Street). LBC to Palos Verdes Loop Ride!!! Beautiful view of Catalina and the Channel! Lots of curvy roads and twisties( I think). We will go over that big assed bridge above all the cruise ships. We'll come out of this scenic route and pass thru Redondo and Manhattan Beach. Then we will proceed thru Venice and stop in Santa Monica. From Santa monica we can head east with the SGV folks who are showing up and take our fast Alameda route back home. This is a long one people, and I am calling all you OC, SGV, L.A., Southbay scooterists out there. no need to own a Ruckus. I don't. All types of scoots are welcome. Motorcycles too (at 35-40 mph pace).

sounds good. I just rode from redondo to san pedro yesterday! Through friendship park no less!!! I'll see what I can do about bringing some heads.

Most realistically I'll break off in the south bay but thats still a fairly long ride.

Last week we rode from redondo to naples, long beach-- I dont think we're allowed on the vincent thomas bridge, but there's a rode called Harry Bridges that branches off of anahiem and goes to san pedro, bypassing the bridge.

Anyone interested in going up to the Rockstore after Santa Monica? I'm thinking:
-north on PCH
-right on Topanga Canyon Blvd.
-left on Fernwood (fairly twisty here)
- right on Stunt Rd.
-left on Mulholland Hwy
-pass Las Virgines Rd.
-Rock Store is on the right side (just after Simes Ln and Cadenhorn Dr.)

*this will add about 57 miles+ round trip from Santa Monica

Home leg:
go back nearly the same way and add some other interesting twisties or:
-Mulholland Hwy
-left on Kanaan
-left on PCH back to Santa Monica
-regroup
-SGV peeps can take Washington Bl back

Let us know if anyone is interested.

Here's a picture of one section we can take back down to PCH.
Keep in mind some areas have tighter turns than this. I'm slow so anyone can keep up.

is it just me or is this a LONG ride?

my bike isnt exactly a cruiser bike......im guessing not so comfy on the long hauls.....but i guess ill find out the hard way.

we gotta end up the same spot we started because we gotta drive the bikes near the start point and unload. then load up and go home when we r done.

i sure hope i get the bike done tonight!!!

Just re-google-mapped the street route from Long Beach to Santa Monica it looks like at least 40 miles one way. So let's scratch the Malibu portion until another day.

ahhh. Brad has to work and i have to get a new blinker because my old one got burnt off from the heat of the exhaust. Gotta relocate them and get some new ones. No time for that. especially since its 1:45am

Next ride be sure to let me know.....i didnt even see this until today.
