San Fran Street ride this Sat 9-20-08

Well it was only a 3 person showing last Saturday for the east bay ride so lets see what happens this Saturday in SF.

Lets plan to meet at the park near my house as there is a big parking lot to offload the bikes and leave the cars for the day. Also at this location if we need to do any last min wrenching my house is only a few blocks away. Id say we could just meet at my house but there is very limited parking as you would guess with how it is in SF.

So times and changes could happen between now and then but lets plan to meet at Crocker Amazon park on the corner of Geneva and Moscow at 11:00. Parking lot entrance is on Moscow a block down from Geneva.

crocker amazon park - Google Maps

From there ill plan out a good city ride with some sites and a stop somewhere for lunch.

If you can make it post up.

Re: San Fran Street ride this Sat 9-20-08

hey Pete got any route ideas?

Im thinking from the start head up to the twin peaks area then out to the coast and up towards golden gate, then the marina, head back through the city to ace cafe in the mission for some grub then back to the starting point. Or maybe some fish tacos out near lombard.

Any scenic stop requests?

As long as we stay away from my office or Pier 39 I am good.

That sounds like a good route. It hits most of the scenic spots along the west/north parts of the city. I'll work on a map when I get home.

Since we're going to ride in the city, I really need to slap on my oil cooler. Does anyone know how much more oil I need to add after I install the cooler? I have the regular sized black Kitaco oil cooler.

Just get your oil level set and then fill the cooler up and install it.
