Ride day in TN whos up for it ? I have been thinking of doing a ride day up at I-81 motorsports park(near greenville TN).They have track, trails and some cool free ride spots.Anyone up for it ? Possibly some time in november ? Or should we plan something out for spring ? All the local riders near asheville would account for 10-15 riders.... Post up if you might be intrested and we will see what we can get going. JC jcminis12@hotmail.com

Re: Ride day in TN whos up for it ? JC, we've been going to I-81 for a few years and I've never seen any free ride areas unless you are talking about the field out by the main entrance. I don't know that it is technically "free" or just not monitored closely.

Re: Ride day in TN whos up for it ? Also, do not expect a prepped track. It will be unprepped and hard as concrete. I've never ridden the trails so I don't know what they are like. That said, I might bring my boys out depending on the weather.

Yes sir,I have ridden there tons,I remember back in the late 90's that place was awesome.Hard pack is perfect for pitbikes, loose dirt sucks up much needed HP....LOL The free ride spot I was refering to was down behind the race car track.Like a big clay wall with some different hits and such... Think november will be to cold ? Or spring to try and get some more peeps involved ? Last edited by JCMINIS; 10-15-2007 at 07:36 PM. | |

Re: Ride day in TN whos up for it ? Sorry JC. It just dawned on me that you meant open riding areas and not free as in no pay. There is a huge area behind the car track. There's also the area by the front gate. November should be fine as long as it isn't raining. As soon as you set a date I will post up a notice in the dirt forum of Welcome to Easttnriders.com. Some of those guys have pit bikes in addition to their street bikes.

Re: Ride day in TN whos up for it ? I don't know too much about people riding minis on the trails around here, I know there is a ton of really nice big bike trails up here that I guess you could bring your 110 on. There is a group of people who ride the dragon at night on fiddys. I will send you a pm about a board to check on trails around here for people who ride big bikes that you may be able to find out more about riding minis.
