Where to get a 90/90-12 Where can I get a tire this size?Been looking all over and can't find one.I've got a 2.15X12 coming for the rear but my front is a 1.6X12 and I would like to put a 90/90 on it.What should I run on the 2.15?

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 120/80/12 is what I read on supermoto junkie. Seems like you have the right idea for the front. I cant find any SM 12"s right now, most seem to be back ordered untill tomorrow. I will post up when I find something.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 I just got a set of the IRC MBR-750 tires. 100/90-12, 12/80-12 they look nice and are supposed to work really good Last edited by p3racer; 06-17-2008 at 01:04 PM.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 Is the 100/90-12 OK for a 1.6" wheel?Where did you get them?I've used the IRC 10's (I'm using one right now) and they work great.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 We run 100/90-12 on 1.85 and 2.15, should be ok on a 1.6 but the shoulder's gonna fall away and narrow the contact patch. Racing or cruising?

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 Just cruisin' on my street legal mini.I'm going to end up with some thing that is way too big for my 1.6 because it appears no one on earth makes a 90/90-12.Most of these little tires are way too expensive so I'll get a couple tires and mount 'em up.If they aren't exactly how they should be then that's just the way it'll have to be.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 I just double-checked and we do have one on a 1.6. Looks fine. I was thinking of the 10" bike.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 I'll probably end up with a 110/70-12 up front and a 130/70-12 in the rear.I don't know how it'll work out.Probably Kenda K413's or K761's.I may have to get a 2.15" wheel for the front too.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 I would not put a 70 series on any of these rims. The tire rolls over bad. Use a 100/90-12". It works pretty good on the 1.60" rim. Cheng Shin makes a 3.00-12" C131. That is a 90/90-12" and it is cheap, real cheap........... Cam

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 I don't ride the highway, just the city streets.Right now I'm running a Kings brand rear tire, and an IRC Jetty MB38.Both work great. The Kings was kind of spendy, the IRC was cheap, but is of very good quality.

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 I'm trying to go that route right now. Two questions for Cam and others: 1. will a 110/90-12 fit on a 1.65 rim without rounding the profile off too much? 2. will a 110/90-12 fit between a set of chinese USD forks? Last edited by cparty27; 06-19-2008 at 06:10 AM.

2. Not sure what the width is on your forks........ The triple clamp dictates the inside width. KLX110 Marz USD forks are very hard to get a 2.15" x 12" rim and 100/90-12" tire to fit. If you use the 1.85" x 12" rim, it will fit easier. You need 4 1/4" inches between the "bells" of the forks, where the fork seals and dust covers sit....... Cam | |

Re: Where to get a 90/90-12 True the rim in the front forks to make sure it sits EXACTLY in the center. You should be ok. Cam
