Thanks for posting this up...I ran an event on some junk stock knobbies on concrete and that was a challenge! Fun...but I wasn't able to ride as fast as I know I could. If this doesn't work out I'll contact Cam...I hear the Sava rains work well. I didn't realize we could run rains, from my road racing background I figured they'd shred up like the ones we run...of course the case is different on a mini-supermoto.

I'll post up if ridenow.com has them in stock if that will help anyone.

Anyone find anything? I bought a cheng shin tire and just got back from an indoor trackday and this tire looks like a trial type tire but it is horrible...I'm on the hunt again for a front.

I tried tiresunlimited.com but they don't have much. Crazy how difficult it is finding tires in a 10 or 12 inch trim.

Parts Unlimited has started shipping Dunlop TT92s, so anyone who's a PU dealer should be able to get some for you.

Or just get Sava MC31s from Cam.

www.tiresunlimited.com has various tires.

I just bought a supermoto Q-IND set along with a 12-inch rim to upgrade the 10-inch that came stock so I'm now running 12's front and back.

On pavement the Q-IND tires are pretty impressive, very good traction and the bike with 12's feels 100 times better...pretty much feels like a real bike.

I bought two Dunlop tt92's (100/90/12) last week from Motorcylesuperstore.
i dont think they had the rear tt92 in stock but they still had the tt91
(120/80/12) for the rear in stock.

This place has quite a selection of tire choices in 10&12. I think I might try the duro tires. When I get my 12" rim for the front of my 70. That way I can switch my wheels/tires from dirt/street whenever I want. Can't wait.

We have had good luck running the 100/90-12s front and rear on 1.6 rims. Its not an ideal set up, but it definitely works. The 601s were awesome, it sucks that you can't find them anymore. Haven't raced on the 92s yet, but thats what I have mounted up right now. In the parking lot they don't feel quite as soft as the 601s, but still have pretty good traction

I just mounted a 92 on my son's kx65. He won his very first race this past Sunday. I can't say it was his front tire for sure.

I can however say that looking at the tire following each heat or race, it appears to be sticker that the 91's were. A 91 is on the back (brand new - Jan 0

and comparing the two, the 92 seems to pick up more track rubber than the 91.

I'm new to motard so my analysis may be off.

Hi everyone.

This is my first post, but I've been browsing and searching for a while.

I just got a brand new SSR-90R, and I'm going to be taking it to some local go-kart tracks for some test and tune and race days.

Because of this I'm going to be needing some street style tires for the thing.

It's got a 12" wheel on the front and a 10" wheel on the back...and currently has 2.75" Kenda Millville tires on it. I'm not 100% sure exactly how wide the rim is.

My question is, would a 110 series tire fit on both of these rims??

I guess also, if they are only the 1.4" rims, which I think they are, would a 110 series tire be an okay size for them?

I am looking to get some tires that will last a while, also, not really "race" tires I guess. I've been eyeing the Pirelli SL26 tires...in size 100-90-10 for the rear and size 110-100-12 for the front. Would these tires work?

I just checked, and the bike actually has 1.6 inch rims.

Looks like Vee Rubber has tires in america now, I have used them at Beaverun for one race event, they worked great. Lasted great. VERY inexpensive!!!!!

My local shop just told me that when he went to check for a front tire for my 110 , that Parts Unlimited had a discontinue status listed for the Bridgestones and maybe even the Pirelli's ??

What gives ?

The BT601SS is probably not going to be back in the US anytime soon.....

Why would you want a Pirelli?

Your best option in 12" is the TT92GP or maybe the next round of Vee Rubber slicks......

I am fairly fast

and the TT92GP lasts FOREVER on most tracks.

Why wouldn't they want to sell to the USA anymore ??? We've sucked up all of the 12" race from their product lines , why stop sell'n to us now ???

The YSR'S ans NSR's are being raced every where right ? They need 12's too ...., yes ?

What's Dunlop gonna carry the load ? I mean what about all those scooters now being sold ? They need 12" tires too ?

It seems to me that Dunnies always seem to be on back order or have a realease date that is always being pushed back . I have a dunny front on back order status for 2 months now .

Pirrelli is my back up pick cause I really liked my 10"ers in the rain .

I'd then have a decent rain tire if needed ....

What's your take on a good rain tire ?

I know they're not the best dry tire but they get this old haaaaas been top 5 finishes in the dry consistantly , aaand they are cheap ...

What do you feel is good wet / dry tire ? I've never tried the Michelins .

TT91s work good in the wet, Sava MC31s work well once you up the pressure.

Now you want a 10" rain tire......... MC0 SAVA Racing Rain.........

In 12"' you'd have to use the standard race tire or get a tire grooving tool and cut some extra grooves, but then you don't have the super soft compound like a true racing rain tire....... You could groove a Vee Rubber slick....... Vee Rubber claims they are going to have sorted out the 12" slicks and rains at some point for the US market...........

We tested some Gen 1 VR slicks...... one set was so out of round it was crazy, the other sets have no negative issues other than balance. You might find you have to balance the gen 1 VR slicks to stop the bounce.
