+R vs 4 valve

not that you didnt probably already know this..... but the 4 valve kills the +r..... im talking 143 vs 138...... same drive up the back straight at USA int, and he pulled from 2 bikes behind me, to 3 bikes AHEAD of me............

so throw your +r's in the garbage now......

i'm going to guess that the price of these will drop.

Re: +R vs 4 valve

Old news man. The 4valve 143 packs as many horses as a 195r. That 138R cant even touch my 2valve 143 either.

I talked to costella and he said the 160 4v is good but it vibrates alot he said he might go back to the old motor...195r is a great motor i think it will be hard to beat

Re: +R vs 4 valve

Yea 195r is great, but when your trying to run in a certain class, it just does not work. Max cc's for F3 is 151. As far as problems, I've been running mine hard at 3 differnet races this year and not a single problem. Same with my buddy. Also, WIlly's bike might just be a packing a few factory bits in and around that motor.

factory bits? u think the factory **** is up with the aftermarket? probably not... it was like it was with atv mx racing years back, it was all up to the aftermarket. the factories would have to play catch up with r and d.

I think he means factory as in "unobtainable parts" or parts that arent easily accessible by the public. Not factory Kawi or Honda parts.

But yes Quadtards have had to rely on the aftermarket for many years!!!

quadtards? still more hardcore then a mini, ur talking to an ex-professional quadtard mx racer.

what u said made no sense. any aftermarket part is obtainable. factory stuff not.

What I meant, is that Lyle from CHP has made a bunch of one off parts for their team bikes that you and I could not buy.

Actually i dont think you could get your hands on a few of the items i've seen. Even if that was the case, it would take so many man hours to create what they have.
