Pitster XJR Lighting

I got my XJR in today, and am wiring the taillight in to the brake switches. The rear will work with the banjo fitting on the master cylinder, but the front brake line goes directly into the master cylinder. Will the brake switch work on the banjo on the front caliper? I really don't feel like rigging up a spring loaded switch.

Here is the switch I'm using.

It'll work there, but that's another wire you have to run back up to the bike from below the sliders, which means it'll be flexing constantly. I'd just use a microswitch on the brake master. It's a standard part that is used on tons of bikes, easy to replace if it ever acts up, and they typically don't.

Can you find me a link for one? I've never heard of this, and it sounds like a better option. Thanks for the input.
