Well the 50 is about done. I just added a 2.15" front with a 90/90/10 TT91 and HD Buchanan spokes, gold RK bling chain and AHP tappet vent. Lowered the front 20mm also. When I do the top end after this season I might add a new 25/22 RH with some port work.

The 110 got a KX60 front lever (longer, better leverage), big bike style kill switch and AHP tappet vent. It gets an engine rebuild in the next 2 months, whether it goes stock bore hi-comp w/ported stock head or goes big bore V2 RH is undecided. I do have some new 100/90/12 Dunlop TT92s going on it in a month. It has a 120/80/12 on the rear right now and it is too big IMO.

They both get Trailbikes shorty filters later this week, and race at Fontana next Sunday. They are both running straight VP C12 right now, I know I don't need the octane but they seem to run really well on the stuff, plus it smells good

Enjoy

how wide are those wheels? they look like they would slow the bike down more than anything from the added weight. is the stock rear rim from the klx on the front of the bike now?

Is it hard to get tires on the klx? Looks like a lot of cursing and patience.

All 2.15" except the 1.6" (KX60 rear wheel) on the front of the KLX.

They are the standard size for 50s and 110s, don't slow the bike one bit.

I am going to a smaller 100/90 on the rear of the KLX vs. the 120/80 on there now.

slicks are only good for racing. i learned the hard way, stick to good street tires. they are 10s on the 50 and 12s on the klx right? have you tried any racing with either bike yet?
