i've got a 07 crf80 big bore with a crf70 14" front wheel to put a motard tire on, and i was wondering if i can use the rear crf70 wheel/hub on my bike? if not, where can i get some 14" motard tires for the front and rear? planning on doing a couple little track days and playing around a bit.

Just drop the cash on cyclone 12x2.15 rims and hd spokes, or get an xr100 swing arm and brake rod. Then you can pickup my 17's.

i'd prefer 14" wheels, or a 12/14 combo. gonna be a mini version of my CRF450X supermotard. already got enough money in wheels/tires on the big bike(s)...

Check the tire sticky. There are no real SM choices in 14".

14" tires are WORTHLESS.......... corner speed with real 12" race tires is worth about 1-2 seconds per corner

But then if your racing in dirt it might not matter at all..............

do your self a favor and spend the money now on 12" X 2.15" rims and enjoy riding that bike

my 17s are pretty nuts too. all it takes is a bigger swing arm and you could be ready to scrape peg.

are there any 12's i can use off a factory bike (bolt on, not relacing to my hub)? really just looking to be able to take it to a track day every once in a while, so i'm not planning on spending much at all. do i have to go disk brakes with the cyclones? how much are they, and where can i get them for the cheapest?

As far as I know the stock CRF 70 wheels will bolt on the CRF/XR 80 and 100. They can be had off ebay reasonable.

Is it posabable that the after market cyclone or dirt wheels with disc for the crf 70 will work? Disc brake wheels will need bracket fabactions for the disc brake calbers.

This opition offered over seas from Takawaga for the Honda Ape fork legs and Kitaco set up for the solid Ape wheels. The also have several swing arms aviable for disc. Not on the cheap. Or even if avialble to the U.S.?

Of course The solid wheel hub won't be of use. However, it brings food for thought for a caibler bracket useing the stock fork leg drum stop. If ! Their is enuff room to play with?
