CA Street Legal Sumo CRF50

Here is the CRF50 that me and my buddy just finished up.

Ill have better pics soon enough.

This bad boy has gone 81mph already and that wasnt even tapped out yet.

Maximum RPM = 11,850

Motor = 124SE ported and polished head - 26mm Carb - Close Ratio 3 Speed - Lightened Flywheel with lighting Stator

thats awesome. what all do you have to do exactly to make youre bike CA street legal? i want to do it cause my car is a piece of shiit and always breaks down lol

do you just need the lights and a speedo?

81mph...that is way fast, are you sure that speedo is calibrated right? Cause 74 on my Motard was freakin gnarly. Whats your gearing? Looks like 17T take front sprocket and maybe a 33 or 35 rear?

OH can you post detailed pics of your connections and mounting for that speedo you got on there?

im pretty sure that in 2003 california banned the ability to make your bike street legal. so u have to find a bike that was made before 2003 that was already street legal. i dnt kno this completly but thats what i heard.

it was when the bike didnt have the speedo.

i was riding side by side with him with me on my R6. Thats right on the money cuz i have the speedo healer kit on it.

Now he has that and he passed a police speedo that they setup and it was reading exactly the same. went from 43 to 44 same time. pretty impressive.

i have an extra unit that ill sell for $105 plus ship. its the Vapor for Generic Inverted forks.

its running 16/30

so, i couldnt tell ya.
