my sdg knockoff has a this exact motor in it.

It's a running sonofagun, but it has a little problem. Inside the cover, on the clutch side, i'm leaking oil through that seal. It will pop out a little bit too and leak more. Trying to find a solution, i don't have the proper tools/know the technique for getting the clutch mechanisms all apart.

Having said that - the motor always starts on the 1st kick and is a monstarrr! 1st gear is kinda useless, would be good if you had a 12" rear (i have 10) or if you geared down a bit 1st would be very useful.

better power/durability GPX or Zongshen??????????

Just checking, you are still going to carry the GPX 124, right??

Wow, I didn't know the carb and intake were included with the GPX motor. If that's the case I'll be giving you a ring next month... already spent this month's spare cash on a swingarm and hub set.

Question

Can you put aftermarket parts like inner rotor, oil cooler, big bore, etc. on the gpx engine?Also can you bolt on a 124cc kit to the icon 50cc without boring the case and can you put the transmission in a honda engine?

Inner rotor kit = Yes
Oil cooler = Yes
big bore - talk to Vince, but I believe they have kits either in the works or ready to go

As far as the Icon mill, I know nada on them so I can't answer

GPX 124cc Engines
oil cooler =yes
inner rotor=yes
BOLT ON big bore to 131cc (so far )

ICON 50cc
icon 50cc just like a honda 50cc
but it has bigger valves and another gear
every trail bikes or classic honda 88-108-117-124cc kit will work
im carrying this engine as a stock class engine
