They are listed as a 4up shift pattern.
Whats the difference between the 140 KRP and the 140 GPX?

No that was only the 88cc krp engine

Dude I read all that and still do not know the difference in the KRP badged engine annd the GPX badged ones.

Thats a sweet deal on the KRP

they are both yx140s made by yx. one has gpx stamped on the side and the other has krp. some have ogm some have ssr... get the point.

My KRP came with a cast iron cylinder, while the GPX has an aluminum one. Anyone know why that is? I know aluminum will dissipate heat better, but is there any other significant pros/cons?

YX makes YX engines in the yx factory (not 100% positive but thats what I have been told)

Yes, the GPX 140s have stators. (the krp140s have irk and cannot run lights)

YX Motorsports Co., Ltd.
so the YX engines are the best engine from China right now or they are just the longest milled ones being produces?
we need to get more info and specs with what interchanges. I know we have a sticky already but not much info on the yx engines there.

the yx140 is basically a built up top end on a gpx124cc bottom end

some like gpx140 have aluminum cylinders
the krp has cast iron
